There're lots of turkeys where I hunt, and I've seen them feeding with deer alot. I agree that if you spook them, the deer will spook too, or avoid the area turkeys were spooked from. I always think it's a treat to see them. I'm hunting a new area of a state park that I've hunted for years, and I've seen turkeys there as much as deer so far. And they make a ton of noise! It's almost like they drag their feet when they walk.

Are wild turkeys as good to eat as domestic turkeys?
