i actually think deer hang out with turkeys alot. around here atleast. one mature buck we been seeing this year has ALWAYS been with a flock of turkeys when spotted in the daylight. kinda makes sense..with all them eyes of a flock of turkeys and the bucks nose hes pretty danged safe!

but as said...only way they are going to mess things up for you is when you get picked off and they start alarm putting. squirrels will do the same for ya. i was watching 2 young bucks in an orchard..not legal to shoot but i was glassing them enjoying the morning. fogged the binocs, the bucks were behind trees so i went to whipe the lenses..a squirrel spotted me and started barking..bucks tails went up and they slipped back into a thicket! the bucks never seen me but the squirrel bark alerted them of the danger...
