Keep trying new things. The first one is always the hardest. If you have a topo map of the land you hunt on I'm sure a few people would be kind enough to give you a location where they think the deer might be. Are you taking the wind direction into consideration? If not you might want to do that. You want to be downwind from the deer. You also might want to try hutnig in the wodds some. Field stands can be good, but they are more effective at night and earlier in the season. You should look for deer droppings, rubs, scrapes, bedding areas, deer trails, and put your stand neer any of this sign. I hope this helps a little bit, and good luck trying to harvest a deer.
