I actually had some luck with mine, and I was extremely skeptical of the call. I had a buck that locked up at about 75 yards...grunted at him with my grunt call and he wouldn't come any closer. There was about 5 minutes of shooting light left, so I decided to growl....he laid his ears back, postured and stepped back and forth, and then came right in. It worked for me, on that particular deer, but I am still not going to sing its praises. I'll trust my grunt call over it 100% of the time.
