I dont pull out the rifles until mid Dec. My land is surrounded by rifle hunters. The rifle season starts in Nov. here, so by the time Dec. roles around the deer have been shot at endlessly. The outfitters are the ones I get bent with. They bring out clients every day and harvest lots of deer, reducing the numbers and keeping everyting stired up. The deer do not get a single days break in Texas. To much money to be made by outfitters.[:@] I still have one buck tag left, if I do not fill it by the end of this month, ill probably pull out a rifle and join the crowd.
