Default RE: Gun Hunting

What kills me is the trophy bucks being taken on deer drives. Let me first state what SB said:
I never said I wouldn't defend your/anyone's right to hunt in any legal and ethical manner you choose.

I stated my opinion ontwo types of"hunting".
That's a very good way of putting it. However I do have an opinion on the 2 different methods. It just seems disturbing to me that you can hunt a mature buck for months (years)with a bow trying to outwit him. You see him in his natural enviroment and try to pattern him. Then you hear about him being shot during a deer drive in gun season. The buck that you put every ounce of your energy during bow season to kill, ultimately gets it by 15 guys plowing through the thickets to kick him to one of the "shooters" standing at the edge of a cut corn field to pick him off running mach 10. Again I'm not trying to bash gun hunters. It just seems like 2 different worlds of hunting to me. When it comes down to it I will also defend any legal method of hunting. Doesnt' mean I have to be thrilled about it.[8D]
