I have an old Magellan GPS 300 that I like. No mapping, but it will do routes and will go up to 99 landmarks, 4-character names. I got it for free, so I don't complain. I also have experience with a Garmin 12 - a few more features than my Magellan, and at the price quoted above, probably worth it.
