You will get your chance. I think that many hunters can go a couple of years at a time without harvesting anything. Just keep at it and you will succeed.Some things that I do is that I am always out in stand/blind at least an hour before legal shooting light, I am as scent free as possible, I hunt the wind, I am as still as possible on stand all of the time and only make very slow movements if necessary, and I practice with my bow and firearm frequently. You need to try to pick spots where you will see deer, or at least give you a chance to see deer. I could go on and on. You will eventually see and take something. The best suggestion is to be out as much as you can, as you can't see/take any deer if your not in the woods.
I missed a 6 point buck with my bow yesterday @ 35 yards, but should have gotten him. Eveyone has disappointments. Good luck.
