I have a Mossberg ATR100 in 270 that currently has a Tasco 4x scope on it,The Tasco was a freebee that a friend had on his shotgun.Im looking to upgrade to a better scope in the 100.00 range.I have noticed that I have seen a few used Leupolds M8 4x going on auction site in this price range.I need to know if this would be a good way to go for a decent scope in my price range.Most of my shots will be in the woods at under 100yds,at this piont in my life that is about the most I can spend on a scope.This rifle is the only center fire rifle that I have and use for deer hunting here in NY and hopefully PA.
