Just plow them in when it starts getting warm, they will be dead anyway. Then when it is warm enough plant soybeans or iron clay peas for summer. Next fall plant the oats again. The biggest problem I have seen with the Buck Forage Oats is that the deer like them too much and keep them eat off too low. I'm going to put a couple of cages in a couple of patches just to see how much they eat them down.
