I have had very good luck with the SST bullets and the 240 grain XTP in.44 caliber. Killed a bunch of hogs and deer with theSST - no failures and no second shots orfollowing blood trails. Shot an SST through both shoulders of a 350 pound hog and it left a huge exit hole.


I lost an elk dueto a 300 grain PTX and 150 grains.Foundthe next day by another hunter who took her out. That bullet had not expanded. It went through her lungs and left a one half inch exit hole. No bloodtrail to speak of and then even that clotted up and went away.

The PTX is the bullet with the round plastic nose andis less streamlined than the SST.
