RE: BROADHEAD PENATRATION
Is your bow in tune? How do your broadhead groupings compare to your field points? Do your broadheads come in at a slant? If so penetration will suffer. Obvious I know, but just in case.
You could also go with a heavier arrow, yours I believe are still under 300 grains.
The more weight = better penetration. Momentum is far more important when it comes to killing a deer, instead of what all of the bow manufacturers talk about, kinetic energy. Just my opinion.
Also, I like the tried and true classic muzzy broadhead. Chisel tip makes for better bone breaking, more likely tobreak through a rib on entry, as opposed to those slicing broadheads that can deflect more.
Again, just my opinion. I would really look at bow tuning and arrow weight.
