RE: Whats a good .22?
The ruger 10-22 costs about 160, so if the Marlin model 60 is 100 less, then it would be a 60 gun. I have a hard time believing that, but maybe it's true....anyways, I highly recommend the ruger 10-22. I have had one for about 5 years now, and I have fired tens of thousands of rounds out of it. I have never had a jam, and I have gone about 5000 rounds without cleaning. one fine day at the range, I put 50 magazines (50 rounds) all in a 1 inch hole at 50 yards. The 10-22 is very accurate, and very smooth and easy to shoot well. It is fast, reliable, and accurate, and in my opinion, the best 22 rimfire you can buy. Get the 10-22 and you will not be disappointed in any way.
