RE: to scope, or not to scope?

After my first hunt, I realize and appreciate the scope on my Mossy. Though I used binoculars to survey the area for predators (human and non). I found that using the scope gave me a clean and clear view of my focal point. It also allowed me to see beyond my perspective target, just in case I needed to hold off my shot, because of unforeseen bystanders missed with a blind eye.
I also like it because I can mount it to my mossberg's 24" riffled barrel for deer hunting.
