Default RE: Bear Hunting?

As Bear Guy says try a honey burn, with honey, strawberry jelly, A friend on mine tried the strawberry burn and he had 6 bears at his stand at once. Also I find that you can use Anise oil. You can go to the local pharmacy and get it in little bottles. I have put it out and had bears come into it stand on there hind legs smell it and leave, not even to touch the bait. They love it and can smell it a long way off. Oh Ya use a stick or rubber gloves because you wont be able to get it off of you hands or clothing for awhile, put it on a small piece of cloth and hang it near the bait up about 6ft or so, or put it around the bait on stones the barrel ect. wrap the unused bottle in a sealed plastic bag. Good luck, I hunt New Brunswick every year and get a bear, I always use it, and always connected with it even if the bears are in the natural foods grass berries ect.
