Congrats on your Brittany. I have an 11 month old male. I live in the Buffalo area and have been spending a lot of time at a local hunting preserve in Darien Center, Ringneck Hunting Preserve,
www.ringneckhunting.com. My intreaset is primaraly pheasants so this worked out well for me. Gene and peggy at Ringneck have a trainer that will work with your dog in the summer months or you can make arrangements with him on your own. I know Darien Center is a bit of a haul for you but these people are truly first class. If you give them a call I am sure they can turn you on to someone closer to you.
