I am a college student, so money is always tight lol. Thanks for both of your replies. The mounts are the right size, but they have not held tight. I don't understand how this happened, but I am not about to put those mounts back on my gun. I am only going to mess up once. I might try to do it again if that is a good idea, which I didn't know if it was or not. Every other gun that I have had has either been a hand-me-down or been bought used, so I didn't have to worry with mounting scopes. I don't think I will be able to take the mounts back. I don't have a receipt or the original packaging. I was planning on spending about $50 plus about thirty to have it mounted and bore sighted. If ya'll think I can do it with a good set of mounts then I will give it a try. I will never use see through mounts again, but I wanted to be able to use my irons and I will use them tomorrow, but I am going to have to take the weekend off, so I can get it set up again. This really pisses me off! more at myself than anything else. I think I will at least let a friend that knows more about firearms than anyone else I know mount it, but thanks.
