I finally have a job where I can take an extended vacation during the rut.....I have never hunted like a madman during the rut because I haven't had the time.....mostly it was early and late season hunting due to my job. This year I will be hunting from November 6th-16th....I just don't know what to think, I think I will be in heaven. I already arrowed a doe this year so I am gonna go all-out for a nice buck or two. If anyone has ever taken a vacation during this time, could you please offer some tips on how to keep my stamina up, both mental and physical, and possibly some advice on your pre-rut/rut strategies/ and what you look for during this time before you switch tactics? Thank you all very much.
