if the wind shifts or swirls at all your likely to get busted. Scent control is THE major issue. If your gonna go out and spend the time you may as well increase your chances by controlling scent as much as possible. wash your hunting clothes in hunting detergent and keep them away from other odors. never wear them in the car or house unlesss your gonna wash them before you go out again. Hang them outside in the woods or over a fence to air out. Wear rubber boots and spray them if they touch any carpet or other human odor areas. clean your gun with no odor oil. take a shower with hunting shampoo. Think this is a little fanatical? Well thats what it takes or hunt into a steady wind. They can smell like a bloodhound and trust their noses more than their eyes. Hunting can be very hard. good luck.
