I have a savage modle 12bvss paid $599.00 at gander mountain. The only draw back is it's heavy but that doesn't bother me much. To be completely honest I barely shoot it any more since I finished my ar15 predator rifle but the gun is VERY accurate (subMOA) especially for the money. I believe for the money you can not gowrong with the savage it looks good to but I camoflaged mine.
