I always carried a 357 with hot handloads, but I think a Glock model 20 10mm with Hicap
Magazine would do nicely. I saw a show with Ted Nugent when he had to use his on a Kudu or one of the other larger plains game. He shot it with his bow, but as he was tracking it, the critter decided to take on the Nuge.
The Nuge won.
