Default RE: Need a little accuracy help.

it takes time and practice. biggest factor in a new acrher is GOOD FORM and CONSITANCY. every little thing you do must be repeated shot after shot or youll never get consistancy. sure you can put them all in a 8inch circle...but thats a standing still target at a known range under perfect conditions. factor in the excitment, maybe a little wind, some tree branches, an alert deer and everything else in a normal hunting situation and youll miss or wound more then your stick in the 8 inch group you shoot at a target. perfect practice makes perfect. concentrate, good form, consitant repeatable form, and follow through. youll be busting knocks in no time. when i first started earlier this year i could killed a deer...but now im killing my arrows out at 35yds. treestand i was doin the same..because i practiced from it. id never call putting them in the killzone acceptable. if my groups arent consitant im not going to shoot that far at a live animal. this is also my first year...but i practiced my butt off and learned alot. im not an expert by any means...but thats how i got to where i am. as soon as i started focusing and becoming consitant and having good forn and a good grip and follow through my groups shrank and arrows started splitting.
