Default Loesch, Shrewd, etc.

Hello all,

I need help/advice on a grip to choose for my 06' Old Glory. I am torqing the junk out of it. I have read and tried to form/repeat a consistenthold, high/medium/low,with minimum torque to no avail.[]

I don't understand how the resultant force of my arm coming in at an angle would result in a straight forward force on the bow riser. I surely am putting alot of pressure on the outside edge of my grip.[]

Anyway, last night I removed the grip from my riser. A hair dryer, various tools, and two hours later, the thing was off. By the way, anyone wanting to remove the grip from an 06', the epoxy I found to be pretty indifferent to temperature, hence old grip in pieces. The riser was getting pretty darn warm to the touch.

Anyway, I like the rounded edges of the bare riser and am looking at Loesch sideplates. Does anyone have $.02 to add concerning aftermarket grips. Sorry this was long winded.
