Welcome to the board. Not a lot of comparison with dove and deer. You must have patience for both, but more for deer hunting. You really just need a weapon of choice, a place to hunt and proper clothing for the elements. You say you have tried deer hunting, so if you have specific questions put them out there and someone will be glad to help.
