dove hunting to deer hunting...
I'm a novice hunter. So far I have only tried deer hunting. I have several friends who are into deer hunting. I would like to make the transition but do not know what I am getting myself into. What is involved in deer hunting and how does it differ from dove hunting?

Welcome to the board. Not a lot of comparison with dove and deer. You must have patience for both, but more for deer hunting. You really just need a weapon of choice, a place to hunt and proper clothing for the elements. You say you have tried deer hunting, so if you have specific questions put them out there and someone will be glad to help.
