RE: inexpensive Arrow Saw - Does it work?
I may have gotten a bad one, but I didn't care for it at all. It is set up like a miter saw, and when I cut arrows like that, I got a bad "whiskering" of fibers on the down side that could not be cut or finished off. I even got a 1/32" thick blade for it and it didn't really help. I much prefer the carbide cut off wheels and a Dremel tool. The best I've found is a 1.5" diamond wheel. That thing really zips through the arrow. It is simply a matter of making a jig that lets you control the arrow length and cut.
