If I'm in a treestand I shoot sitting. I have a much more solid platform when sitting. When you're knees are shaking like mine you're better off sitting LOL!

I all honesty I practice both but my pin is steadier when I sit. Plus, when you stand up in your treestand you have to devote a certain amount of concentration to keeping your balance on that platform 20 feet in the air. Sitting down means there's one less thing I have to think about when the deer is in front of me.

Plus, I've been busted before trying to stand up - usually by a different deer than the one I'm watching.
