You got that right I got it at a gun show about 30 years ago and fell in love with it. you are right it was a round ahead of it time and so was the .264 mag. I had a guy offer me $1000.00 for the .284 and I told him he did not have enought money to buy that gun from me. It is in 95% or better the sad part is I don't like to carry it in the woods it is that good of shape.
