I'm from upstate ny and kind of the same thing happened to me. We own a cabin thats about 350' behind our house, are house is next to the road. My family and I like to go down to the cabin on the weekends we play games and do the family thing down there. One saturday morning my wife and I got up and started moving about getting the fire stoked etc... when we notice a truck in our driveway. The pickup was a crew cab with a cap on the back. 4 guys got out of the back and 5 got out of the front with there guns and gear.. I asked if I could help them They said no and started to go passed me towards our cabin. So I asked what they thought they were doing? One of them said whats it look like we're going hunting. I said the he%@ you are this is my land (huge 5 acres). They said there are no signs that say its posted. I was getting real P*%# off by now so I told them to get the h#@$ off my property. They climbed back in there truck and started to leave then stoped and got out again. This time they went across the road This property is private also. Once again I asked what they thought they were doing same answer. I'ld told them I was going in to call the cops this made them leave. On there way out they told me I'ld better learn the law before being such a jerk. They said that they bought ther hunting lic. and that that gave them the right to hunt where ever they wanted. Its hard to believe how stupid, and disrespective some people can be.
