Ohhhh that just chaps my hide!!! I can't stand it when I hear about trespassers. It just gets me burning. Is there no law against trespassing in New York??? I would have been on the phone in an instant to the local DNR agent to report the instance. A couple of years ago I had one of our neighbors come driving on to our land. I wouldn't have minded if they would have just come walking in(they were looking for a wounded deer) but they were driving all over out in the field ruining the hunt for me. What made me more upset was that I got out of my stand to go see who it was and they just took off. I ran all the way across the 80 acres I was hunting before I caught up to them and then they just said they didn't see me. (I was wearing blaze orange as is the state law here so I couldn't see how they couldnt' see a huge orange blob come running at them) We've had people try to take deer from us that we've shot on our land and they've come in trying to get a shot at a deer. There's enough public ground out there. Long story short please report trespassers. Sorry but I had to vent.
