RE: Savage Rifle question
I was about to buy one today but couldn't get past how the trigger felt. Yesterday I was shopping around and found one that had a sweet trigger. I guess some are better than others. I was basically told that it's a good idea to replace the trigger after buying one??? Plus, another reason I didn't get the savage is price. Right now Ruger has a $40 rebate and tosses in the scope rings. So, if you subtract the $80 then the Ruger is only a few $$$ more than a Savage. I've also heard that resale value of a Savage isn't too good. I know.........keep em! Don't sell them. Make sure you dry fire the Savage to feel the trigger before you lay your money down.
