I have a new 110 in 30-06, I measured the trig pull to be about 6 lbs (suspended weights with a string method) and have never taken any of this rifle apart yet. Is the factory trigger adjustable, even a little bit? Or do I have to do a full replacement.

If it is adjustable, what is involved with the job, what must be taken apart and is it just a simple turn of a screw to lighten the trigger pull? Does this opperation impact the rifle and make it less safe.

I have seen timney triggers for about 60 bucks but dont know how much it would cost for someone to do it for me.
