RE: which blades to use?
I've had good results from many fixed blades including Muzzy and TH's. However I use COC heads, for the past 5 years it has been Steelforce Premiums. Main reason my bow is more likely to be used for bear, elk and moose then deer (though they have done a bang up job ondeer as well). They have just flat out performed in all aspects.
I will not use a mechanical, as i don't consider them to be a great choice for the larger deer species.
