Default RE: Stopping power.

What the heck guys, lets all just start shooting 458's! That way we don't even have to hit them in the vitals! Just aim at the deer and shoot <img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle>!

All I wanted was an opinion on what bullets would be best for me to shoot. All the deer I've got untill this year dropped dead in thier tracks. I just think it's odd that I never had a problem with deer dropping untill I started using rem. bullets. I am very satisfied with MY accuracy, I know my limits and I stick to them. I know what I can expect from MYSELF. I don't need anyone else to tell me I need to spend more time practicing!!! I'm not having any problems with accuracy and I don't know how this conversation got onto that topic.

Sorry I just had to vent. I've just read to many posts along the lines of &quot;if you can hit them right any bullet/arrow/gun will work&quot;.
A .22 short will kill a deer if you hit them in the right spot. I just want something that will work as best it can for my setup.

&quot;Hey ya'll, watch this&quot;
