RE: hunting journals?
Wednesday Oct,4th,Off work @ 3:30P,got on stand @4:05P
Sunrise 6:53AM,Sunset 6:30PM
Left the woods @ 6:50PM could not see past ten yards after 6:40PM
Temp 65F and dropping,Winds NNE 5MPH gusting to 25.
Hunted from stand location 2 near swamp
Clothing, cabelas dry plus uninsulated bibs&non insulated parked with scent-loc
Comfort level good at beginning ,as it got later temps droped into low fifties and I started to get chilled
I didn’t see any deer ,a few squirrels.
My thoughts where: Saturday morning to bring my pole saw and a rope to trim up brinches to the south, also if I hunt my other stand to bring prussic rope, and screw in bow holder. When I am done hunting Saturday I want do do a little scouting for a possible new stand location, bring orange marking tape
