RE: hunting journals?
Sunday Oct,1 Sunny Winds Calm,Temp 83deg
Sunrise 6:50AM,Sunset 6:35PM
Moonrise 2:?PM,Moonset 11?PM
Moon Phase ,Half Waxing
On stand @ 2:30 PM
Done @ 6:45
Clothing uninsultaed bibs,scent block suit,ASAT camo,Scentlock cap.
Comfort level,poor.
Too warm for all these clothes, mosquitos, and my back was hurting.
Notes:I really liked my setup, with the new harness, drop rope and prussic climbing system I felt very safe climbing tree,it is a really safe/quick way to hunt.
I didn’t see any deer,my thoughts where to get a thermo cell, get back to exercising so I could sit longer(back ache).
Also I need to trim a couple branches for a clear shot to my right side. Will bring a rope, handsaw, and pole saw on early Saturday morning hunt. Also saw a couple riding by on horse trail.
