Havent had much luck with either this year yet. I prefer evenings, but like mornings simply because I get to see my kids more in the evenings if I stay home. To me, nothing hurts more than going home empty handed after dark thinking that I should have been home helping with homework, playing ball or tormenting my daughters new boyfriend after school. I have to admit though, when he sees me getting out of my truck with my camo on and a bow in my hand after dark he doesnt stay around long!
I see just as many deer either way, but spook less in the evenings simply because I can see where I am going. In my areas they move as much at either time.
