I prefer evenings as well, but that is certainly not to say that mornings are not very good times to hunt. As far as spooking the deer and making your evening hunts more difficult....maybe, maybe not. It all depends on the location, how you get in and out and most improtantly how the deer use it. You certainly don't want to walk through or even very close to their food supply while getting to your morning stand...just as you don't want to walk through their bedding area getting to your evening stand. If the stand is being used for both morning and evening...it all depends on how you get to it. You may have to go the long way around to avoid spooking them.
