RE: do you tip your pro shop?????
I boutght my Bow from BassPro shop(i know what you "experts" are thinking, that's your first mistake). My rational was easy way to establish credit and get my Bow before season(hey, do what ya gotta).
Bow: Diamond Liberty by Bowtech....very happy with this bow!!!!!
I must admit, i am extermely disappointed in the way BassPro handled my set-up. two weeks after a bought my bow, i started hearing a noise when i was just about at full draw. I started tapping around my limbs, and founf that on my bottom cam, they forgot to tighten the cam and the stopper(diamonds have a stopper that is calculated to your draw length) had completely fallen off.
I realized this by taken it to an archery shop. They pointed out all the "issues" i was having.
I returned the bow to basspro and demanded a new one (the diamond liberty package is 749.99)....They were very compliant with my demand for a whole a new bow, and my dis-satisfaction for the service that was done in the archery shop.
When i received my new bow, i took it to Great Bridge Archery (Chesapeake, Va.). They were very informative, and even let me do some of service and learn about the parts of my bpw. When i asked how much they want to set my bow up they said "12.00 labor." I gave then a twenty, and ever since then it has been a "Quid Pro Quo" relationship. Sometimes the don't charge me for the range, and sometimes i give them an extra five...............
Most of all, i enjoy going there!!!!!!!
