RE: Opinions about upgrading bows...
I paid $250 for mine and am satisfied with my purchase. For the price, I don't think I could have gotten a better bow. Yeah Igot it at Walmart, but it fits me well and shoot great. Yep, there's some hand shock, but it's rather quiet. I'd give my left testicle for a Bowtech Alliegance, but the dude at the Archery Shop told me U.S. Dollars only lol. Something that has me spooked lately is all the horror stories I'm hearing about the high-end bows breaking. Seems like Cams and Limbs are the biggest problem. Manufacturers are forced to create bows that launch arrows faster and faster, but I think technology is not keeping up with the demand for speed. My $250 Walmart bow(See Signature) launches my Terminator Hunters at 245fps. That's plenty for right now since I'm shooting no further than 30 yards. The next bow I buy will be one of the big three, probably. But I'm not sure how long it will take me to save up $1000.
