With this being your first year with a bow I would suggest just staying in 1 spot and getting a few deer under your belt. Once you do that I would either find a spot with less hunters or just sit. I know if I were to see someone walking around, I would not be pleased. Some people put a lot of time and effort in finding a stand location, to have someone walk by would really get to them. If you do find a spot with less hunters stalking or still hunting as we call it can be very rewarding expecially on windy ir rainy days.
