First of all, welcome to the board Cat Man Dooo!! Nice to have another Colo. caller show up. I do alot off calling on the eastern plains of Colo. myself, not too much yet this year, still have deer tags to fill. But, anyways, I use only hand calls and have real good luck with them, and I refuse to use electronics, primarily becasue I walk way to far to carry any more than I have to. I do know, however, that rabbit distress, both jack and cottan tail, tapes work well. Coyoteseeker, another here on this board, likes to use coyote pack howl tapes to locate coyotes before calling them, which apparently works very well. E-mail me, I've got some hand calls that I could get you a set of, if you would be interested in them. They are open reed calls, and work great. Let me know.
