And - your license is NOT valid until TWO days after you buy it once the season starts so if you show up on Monday you can't hunt until Wednesday (keeps folks from shooting a deer then buying a license)

You will be cold - dress warm & be sure you can shoot with cold weather clothes on AND be sure you can draw your bow when you're freezing. Don't forget about your pac boots - lightweight rubber won't cut it.

What part of the state will you be hunting? Muzzleloader season opens Sat after TG so you might have to wear orange too...??
