Default RE: Minnesota Seasons

Gscuttles,

The weather for next week looks like it is going to be rather cool, highs in the 20's and teens, lows single digits, not much for snow forcasted.

It used to be that you could not buy an archery deer license after the firearms season opened, but I went on to the dnr website and couldn't find this rule still in print. A call to the Minnesota DNR (888-646-6367) might be in order on this unless anyone else out there knows. **** I called and found out that you can still purchase an archery license, they did away with that rule a few years back *****

Non-resident license is reasonable at $126, you'll need a drivers license or SSN to obtain the hunting license via an ELS (electronic licensing service) agent.

The archery season typically opens around the Saturday closest to September 15th and closes the end of the year (except in the northeast boundry waters area which closes Sunday the 24th).

Hope this helps.
