Iknow what you mean about shooting at 3d targets. They are misleading. I was shooting a 3d course with my dad last weekend and he beat me on points because he aimed for the heart every time.

HOWEVER, I hit every target in the center of the lungs. He completely missed the vitals on2 deer by trying to crowd the heart. He was boasting that he outscored me, but in reality, I think I shot better because I would have killed every deer I shot at while he would have wounded 2.

Anyway, my point is to aim for the center of the lungs. It givesthe greatest margin of error.
