As everyone else mentioned, this happens even to veteran hunters. Not only does it happen to bow hunters, I have heard of it happening to rifle hutners as well. The biggest thing is that you have brought it to other people's attention so that it doesn't happen to them. As Greg said, aiming for the exit hole is the key when you are in a stand....from what I hear. This is my first year deer hunting with a bow, so I hope that it doesn't happen to me...by your good advise.
