Puzzles me why some are obessed with where others hunt, or challenge them to come hunt on public land if they already have a suitable place to hunt deer. Almost sounds like some sorta Socialism at work, or perhaps it's just a manifestation of juvenile jealousy?
If I have a "honey hole" now, pretty sure I didn't haveone back in the 60s and mid-70s, when it was a treat to see a handful of deer after hunting for several days. It's why we often drove several miles to hunt them back then. What a unique concept: Going to where the deer are.

BTW Hoss, haven't shot any deer off'n the front porch yet and likely never will. Too many trees out front to see deer crossing the fields and pastures. The woods out back offer far more opportunities, but as is often the case with such things, it's all in the timing.
