I just went through this with my son, Thursday evening. I got a little ticked at him for not knowing what he was doing with it....BEFORE we got in the woods, Thursday evening. I gave him the stand MONTHS ago. He's had time to figur eit out for himself. I had to show him how to pack it out, too.

What these guys said works, fine. I'd guess just about everyone does "something" differently with these stands. The only way to perfect YOUR method is through repetition.
