I agree with ipscshooter. Premium bullets are nice, but for whitetails, a 150gr. core-lokt from remington will kill just as well. The key is shot placement, so work on finding the load that shoots consistently from your rifle. Anything from 150 to 180 grains. If premium bullets shoot best, by all means, use them. But if the less expensive stuff shoots just as well, you don't need to spend the extra money on premium ammo.
