I like the Federal 150 grain (BLUE BOX) ammo. Its loaded with Speer Grand Slam bullets. They grouped well in My 30-06 and performed very well on Mule deer. When I hand load for the 30-06 for deer, I load either the 150 grain Nosler Ballistic tips or the Sierra Pro-Hunter bullets. Also you can't go wrong with anything loaded with Nosler Partition bullets. Federal for one loads these as well. Good hunting.
